I interviewed a writer called Paul who works for the observer. He also done magazines and articles for sport and music. His been doing this for about 20 years. Paul is a sub editor which means the person who determines the final content of a text (especially of a newspaper or magazine). He studied at the college of printing. From college he went on to working for a paper called sounds which is a music paper. The job moves very fast because the industry changes quickly. Paul let us know that is not easy getting into this job because everybody wants to do it.

CD Cover Work
For my front cover I used the image of a path-way with a street light. In my design I tried to show a guy with a broken heart . I used Fire Works to produce my design. I also used Photo Shop to make this CD cover. To help draw the design I made use of tablets to make this part easy.
The back cover has the lists of tracks and a background of a street and a picture. The main thinking behind my design was the broken heart on the body that really stands out, so it would catch people’s eye. The stages I went though to get to this point was by looking at what an Artefact is, Analysing CD Covers by professional designers and by looking at package analysis.
